Space Voyage privacy policy

MundaneApps · Updated 20 October 2026

This policy covers the Space Voyage Android game by MundaneApps. The HeadsUp and website privacy policy covers HeadsUp and mundaneapps.com. Contact us about Space Voyage at mundaneapps@gmail.com.

Playing as a guest

You can play without creating an account. Game progress is saved on your device. Uninstalling the game or clearing its data can remove that local progress. Viewing a leaderboard contacts our server. Guest play does not mean that no data leaves your device: advertising services, purchase services where used, and optional analytics can process the data described below. Network services also receive connection information such as your IP address.

Optional Google sign-in and online play

If you sign in, Google provides account information such as a Google identifier, name, email address, and profile picture. We use sign-in and Supabase to identify your account, synchronize game progress, and support online features. We store your display name and player handle; stars, crystals, upgrades, rockets, ports, objectives and streak; completed-run scores, regions, duration and collected items; and per-region gameplay records used to check run validity.

Your display name, handle, leaderboard scores, rank, and public game records can be visible to other players, including through read-only pilot profiles. Your email is not displayed to other players. Choose a display name that does not reveal private information. Space Voyage has no player chat or messaging.

Purchases

Google Play handles payments; we do not receive payment-card details. RevenueCat helps verify purchases and can process app or account identifiers, device information, and store transaction information. Our purchase records include transaction identifiers, product, date, and purchase/refund status. Purchases are optional.

Optional play analytics

If you agree to share play data, we send gameplay events to PostHog to understand and balance the game. Events include run results, collected items, upgrades, objectives, and pack purchases, with app/ruleset information and a random installation or account identifier. We do not intentionally include your name or email in these events. You can change this choice in Account. Declining analytics does not disable advertising, whose choices are separate.

Advertising and consent

Space Voyage integrates Google AdMob and Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP). Ads include optional rewarded revives and interstitial breaks between some runs. When advertising services operate, Google can collect or share IP addresses (which may be used to estimate general location), device and advertising identifiers, app interactions including ad views and taps, diagnostics, and performance information. These support ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention, and the advertising choices that apply to you. This processing can occur without signing in to Space Voyage.

The upcoming 13+ closed-test build applies teen protection and the stricter under-age-of-consent advertising treatment to every player, including adults, without collecting a birth date. The game sends the under-age-of-consent flag separately to Google's consent system; that system does not request European advertising consent from users treated as under age. Production ad requests still wait for Google's SDK to permit requests. These restrictions do not mean that advertising services collect no data. When Google requires a privacy-options entry point, Settings shows an Ad privacy action to review or change choices. Ad personalization and availability depend on consent, region, device settings, and provider rules; choosing not to personalize ads does not necessarily stop all ad-related processing. You can also manage advertising options in your Android or Google settings.

Learn more from Google's privacy policy, Google's advertising information, and the Mobile Ads SDK data disclosures. We do not sell your account data. Advertising is separate from optional gameplay analytics.

Service providers and international processing

We use Supabase for accounts and game data, RevenueCat and Google Play for purchase verification and payments, PostHog for optional play analytics, and Google for ads and consent. Providers receive information needed for those functions and apply their own privacy terms. Processing may occur outside your country. See Supabase, RevenueCat, and PostHog for their privacy information.

Keeping and deleting data

We keep game account data while your Space Voyage account exists. You can request deletion in Profile → Account → Delete account or follow the web deletion instructions. Deletion is scheduled after a 30-day cancellation period. Use Cancel deletion in the game before that deadline to withdraw the request. The request removes the Space Voyage profile and associated progress/run records; it does not delete your Google account or automatically remove an identity used by other MundaneApps products.

Purchase records may be retained separately for accounting, refunds, and fraud prevention after their direct player link is removed. Previously collected analytics, advertising data, and provider records are subject to the relevant provider's retention and deletion processes. Email us for a request involving those records; deleting a game profile does not automatically erase every provider's independent records.

Age and younger players

Space Voyage is intended for ages 13 and older and is not directed at children under 13. If you are below the age at which you can provide valid consent where you live, involve a parent or guardian before signing in, sharing optional play data, or making purchases. Being 13 or older does not by itself establish valid consent in every country. If you believe a child under 13 has supplied personal information, contact us so we can investigate and remove it as appropriate.

Your choices and rights

You can play as a guest, decline optional analytics, use available ad privacy controls, change your public display name, and request access, correction, or deletion by emailing mundaneapps@gmail.com. We may need to verify ownership before acting. Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights and may contact your local data-protection authority.

Policy changes

We update this page when the game's data practices change and show the update date above. Material changes that require new consent will need the relevant consent before that processing begins.
