We build the mundane stuff, on purpose.
MundaneApps is a small, independent studio. We make quiet, private tools for the ordinary parts of life, and we would rather do a few things well than chase the next big thing.
It started with the unglamorous things.
The parts of life that no one enjoys tracking, the bills, the renewals, the little recurring chores, are exactly the things our phones should quietly help with. Instead, the tools meant to help are often noisy, packed with ads, or slowly turning into one more thing you have to manage.
We wanted the opposite. Software that does one useful thing, respects your time and your data, and then gets out of the way. So we started building it, one small app at a time, beginning with Heads-Up.
Everyday software should be a good houseguest.
It should earn its place on your home screen by being useful, not by competing for your attention or quietly selling what it learns about you. Privacy should be the default, not a setting you go hunting for. Pricing should be honest. And an app should still work years from now, offline, without asking anything of you. That is the standard we hold ourselves to, and the kind of software we want more of in the world.
Five things we will not compromise on.

We build MundaneApps because we kept wishing these apps existed, made the way we actually wanted them: calm, private, and genuinely useful. It is a small operation, put together with a lot of care and none of the growth-at-all-costs playbook. If something here makes an ordinary day a little easier, that is the whole point. And if you have an idea for the next one, we would genuinely love to hear it.
